  Invisalign is the removable, clear plastic alternative to metal braces for kids, teens, and adults. The treatment includes a progressive series of orthodontic aligners/trays to be worn for 22 hours each day and switched out every 10-14 days. As a result, teeth gently shift into their optimal position within six months to two years. The treatment course varies based on the intended goal, how diligent you are about wearing the aligners, and how effectively the treatment progresses.

  If you have veneers or crowns, yes. Invisalign may be an ideal orthodontic treatment option. Conversely, if you have implants and bridges, no.

  Invisalign is ideal for correcting crooked teeth, overbites, underbites, crossbites, open bites, and crowding.

  Depending on your treatment plan and the stage you're at, we will schedule brief orthodontic visits every two to four weeks.
  

• Is it possible to focus Invisalign treatment on only my top or bottom teeth?

  It is rare when Invisalign treatment focuses only on one arch (top or bottom) since any seemingly localized adjustments will affect your overall bite and potentially lead to serious dental complications, such as malocclusion (misalignment). Hazards include uneven wear on teeth, chewing issues, difficulty speaking, or pain.
